Stand Gonta's second shop, and a separate bar, not an annex. It's down a staircase in a basement just north-east of JR Sannomiya, with the same deal as the original: draft beer at ¥190, served from noon. The room is bigger than you'd guess from the stairs, with a U-shaped standing counter that fills up fast in the evening.
The menu runs from sashimi and fish & chips to grilled pork trotters, chicken wings and sirloin steak. Check the board for the daily specials. A beer and a few plates come to well under ¥2,000.
Smoking is allowed everywhere, as at the original. If Stand Gonta by the Hankyu gates is full, this is where you go next.
